It’s been a massive week for Australian metal, with the confirmation that Gold Coast metal outfit Sunk Loto will be making a long-awaited comeback with the announcement of shows on the Gold Coast and Brisbane over the next few months. We caught up with frontman Jason Brown to get the news first hand and the young fella certainly had a lot to say!

We also speak with Vanishing Point and The Angels about upcoming tours plus CJ Nash catches up with another Gold Coast act in Azreal who are coming off the back of a great set at Wallapalooza and have their sights set next on Carnage Fest with Kaosis, Frankenbok, Void Matter and Ocean Shores in just a couple of weeks.

There’s new music from Mass Sky Raid, Suburbiasuburbia, Phil Jamieson, To Octavia, Ekko Park, Psycroptic, Scaphis and RedHook, plus we bring you tour announcements from Enter Shikari and Soilwork.

Our review team take another look at the new albums from Massic and Sugar Spine, the split 7″ with Black Rheno and Child Bite and with live music and festivals making a comeback we look at Fist Full Of Rock, Devilskin and Caligulas Horse.

HEAVY Cinema is once more chock full of reviews, interviews and trailers so crack a Jack, pump the music up, and settle in for the weekend.

Until next time, stay HEAVY,

Krispy
