Voltera: Coordination

Share This:

A combination of metal, industrial, electronic, experimental and everything in between, Voltera’s frenzied arrangements showcase original riffs, bold synth sounds, effects, death growls and perverted pop hooks.

Voltera’s album, Coordination, is a collection of their three previously released EPs entitled Coordination 1, 2 and 3. Coordination is creative, disorientating and incredibly unique, with bizarre song structures and plenty of surprises in store. Kali opens with haunting vocals. Knuckles is aggressive and percussive. Trade Off and Cult of Kukulkan are utterly chaotic. Populution and Rakumba Road are undeniably catchy. Demarcate is riffing and heavy while still embracing plenty of weird and wonderful sounds and each track is embellished by traditional instruments and tribal motifs, in keeping with the record’s lyrical themes. Curious? You should be.

Coordination is by no means easy listening, but it’s definitely worth a listen.
