Far North QLD’s The Brazilians were borne in the pubs nestled amongst the Mulgrave Delta cane fields of deep Far North Queensland. The band got their start playing loud and proud, the twin guitar attack of Macalpine & Williams competing against the industrial din of the Gordonvale sugar mill pumping 24/7 across the road from their gigs.
The Brazilians have just released a new single and accompanying video for their rollicking new call to arms The War For Rock’n’Roll. Let’s face it, Rock’n’Roll has been under attack for many years now.. noise laws, poker machines, loss and gentrification of venues, beer taxes, the soaring price of tattoos and spandex etc etc, it’s a battlefield out there!
Time to fight back as The Brazilians release their new single The War For Rock’n’Roll.
The Brazilians singer/guitarist Todd Macalpine says “It’s a fun song to play that has been going down well live, it’s become a crowd favourite in a very short time”. Check it out below.
