“It’s a lot more bipolar than the last record,” measured Keshav Dhar, guitarist from Skyharbor, describing the recently released ‘Sunshine Dust’. “That one was almost pretty all the way through. It was pretty, uplifting prog, but with this one there is still that prettier stuff but it is a lot darker. I think it’s a bit of a mix of everything. We’ve got pretty stuff, we’ve got really aggressive, heavy, screaming stuff and we’ve got accessible catchy songs.”
In the full interview, Keshav goes more in-depth on the album, talks about re-recording it on the Gold Coast, the musical evolution of Skyharbor, the messages in their music, the early years of Skyharbor and how it turned from a three-piece instrumental act at their debut show into a global phenomenon plus more.
