The SHVPES of Things to Come

“It’s a really diverse album,” revealed Griff Dickinson, vocalist for Shvpes about their upcoming album ‘Greater Than’. “It’s all heavy music – whether that’s heavy in terms of a hip-hop/urban street kind of sound to it – it’s still heavy in that respect but then we’ve got the heavier side of things with your guitars and more conventional heavy music. It’s a very eclectic album but the theme throughout is heavy music.”

In the full interview Griff goes into greater detail on the album, why they changed from their original plan of releasing it in shorter mixtape format, the diversity in the bands music, Matt Heafy from Trivium guesting on the album, how the blending of musical styles came together, the change in direction from their previous album and more.

Greater Than is released November 9
