Twenty years after Hey There Delilah became one of the defining songs of the 2000s, multi-platinum Chicago pop-rock favourites Plain White T’s are bringing the celebration Down Under, announcing their first Australian headline tour in more than a decade.
Set to hit Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide this October, the four-date run marks the band’s first headline shows on Australian soil and comes as the smash hit continues to connect with fans old and new two decades after its release.
A whole new wave of Australian fans have been falling for Hey There Delilah all over again, with the track blowing up on TikTok over the past month and finding its way to a fresh generation of listeners. The love is showing up on the charts too, with the song re-entering the ARIA Singles Chart this week at #87, twenty years on from its release.
