Brisbane’s iconic heavy music and dark arts festival, Dead of Winter, is almost upon us, marking its first edition since 2019. After years of silence, the return of Dead of Winter signals a new era. In 2026, the festival re-emerges as the Phoenix rising – resurrecting its legacy whilst opening the door to what comes next.
The 2026 event will be held on June 27 at the Mansfield Tavern, establishing a return home for the festival as it enters its next chapter. And in honour of this momentous occasion, organisers have assembled an almighty line-up, including Mammal, DZ Deathrays, Jay and Lindsay, Beanflipper, Toe to Toe, Lo!, Slim Krusty, Neptune Power Federation, Nicholas Cage Fighter, Flangipanis, Black Rheno, Monster Zuko Onsomb, Hammers, Rick Dangerous & The Silkie Bantams and Dad Fight.
