The mighty Finns are back! With sold-out world tours and some of the highest-selling albums of the past decade, it is hard to imagine that the talented juggernaut that is Nightwish could get any bigger. Yet the release of their brand new album Human :II: Nature recently has seen the band reach new heights that not even they could imagine.

When Dave Griffiths had the chance to talk to lead vocalist Floor Jansen it is obvious that she is still in shock at what the album has managed to achieve in its short life on shelves around the world. Check out the interview!

When delving into the history of Scandinavian metal it is hard to miss the almighty name: Mercyful Fate. Led by the legend himself, King Diamond on vocals, and the amazing Hank Shermann on guitars the band has been mixing progressive metal with elements of black metal since the early 1980s. There are been some breaks in-between but the band are still going strong and are about to celebrate the re-release of some their early albums. I was lucky enough to chat to Shermann who was in partial lockdown in Denmark at the time and we had a lengthy discussion not only about the re-releases but about the band’s history in general. Check out the interview!

Plus we’ve got a bunch of album reviews… check it out!
