GROOVER Review: MC POMPPA P ‘Madness’

Share This:

Mc Pomppa P is a weird name for an artist who comes under the genre of metal/rock/punk, but with a song titled Madness I guess you have to make an exception…

Starting off with demonic growls, the drums soon kick in at a frenetic pace amid more growls and noises from the depths of Hell.

The screams continue before a slick guitar run entices the drums back to play, all the while the distorted voice of capitulation looking large as a sinister, unseen presence.

Then everything stops, save for the odd growl, just as a sinister laugh trails into the distance, and we are done in under two minutes.

I’m still not sure what I have just listened to, but you have to give it credit for originality.

Even though it seems minimalistic there is still quite a bit going on here, and it would be interesting to see what other sonic dimensions Mc Pomppa P takes us on over the whole album White Rabbit, which is out now.
