The timing of French Death Metal superstars Eths push into the Australian market probably couldn’t have come at a worse time seeing that the band’s talented lead singer, Candice Clot, has just quit due to family commitments.
Still the re-released/packaged-together versions of Eths’ two most popular EPs ‘Autopsie’ and ‘Samantha’ have now hit Australian shores… and they are certainly guaranteed to split true Death Metal fans.
‘Samantha’ sees Eths delve into more of a traditional Death Metal sound (aside from some DJ scratchings) while ‘Autopsie’ sees the band incorporate elements of Nu-Metal as well, which will have the traditionalists heading for the hills.
Experimental and theatrical, Eths are the epitome of what Deathcore is all about.
