Brisbane progressive maestro’s Opus Of A Machine have released a new track from their upcoming new album Stray Fire, which will be released on August 3,  just in time for their tour with fellow Queensland prog experts, Caligula’s Horse.

Band guitarist, Zac Greensill says of the video ‘Strength in Stone encapsulates the entire mood of the album for me. It’s a very personal story for the band, but one that I believe we share collectively. We’re incredibly proud of this clip and we hope that everyone out there feels something in the song and video that resonates with them as much as it does for us.
Opus Of A Machine have also signed with progressive music specialists, Wild Thing Presents as their exclusive booking agent. Opus Of A Machine joins an impressive and growing roster that includes; Caligula’s Horse, Circles, Orsome Welles, Alithia, Dyssidia and many more. The band comment on the signing: ‘Wild Thing Presents has continuously progressed the Australian rock scene for many years and to be part of that amazing network of people now is exciting and humbling. We look forward to continuing this great relationship with the entire Wild Thing Presents family!
Eli Chamravi, CEO of Wild Thing Presents comments, “I’ve known the Opus Of A Machine guys for sometime in and around Caligula’s Horse. They’re an excellent progressive alternative rock outfit, full of atmospheric assages, slick riffs, and big choruses. I caught their impressive PROGFEST Brisbane performance earlier this year, with their set full of amazing new album tracks which really captivated me. I’m positive they will come of age and reach greater heights with their fantastic new soon to be released album ‘Stray Fire’.
Stray Fire is the bands first new music since their 2014 debut, Simulacra. The first single was recently released and received national airplay and served to whet the appetites of fans and media alike!
Formed in 2013, Opus Of A Machine have been a presence in the Australian progressive metal scene since releasing their debut album Simulacra. Known for pushing the creative boundaries of alternative, progressive rock by combining the experimental nature of the genre’s foundation with an electro, pop edge. Technical wizardry meets emotional introspection with pumping synths and skyscraping melodies all pinned down by a rock solid groove.
Having shared the stage with the likes of Seether, Caligula’s Horse, Twelve Foot Ninja, Voyager, Klone and Alithia, Opus Of A Machine’s live show is one of stirring dynamics chaotic energy and unabashed positivity.
