Australia’s premiere horror film festival Monster Fest returns to Melbourne from 26th-29th November and this year it is back bigger and better than ever… and they have given us some Monster swag to give away.
This year’s Monster Fest sees special guests Dee Wallace (E.T.,The Howling), Fred Williamson (From Dusk Til Dawn) and Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster from The Munsters) stop by for everything ranging from Acting Masterclasses through to Movie Marathons.
Then there are special screenings of Wolf Creek and the cult classic Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em as well as Australian premieres of eagerly anticipated horror films including Howl, Hellions, Haunt and Eli Roth’s latest masterpiece Knock Knock starring none other than Keanu Reeves. Just to top everything the festival kicks off with the world premiere of Scare Campaign a film from the twisted minds that brought you 100 Bloody Acres.
With live bands and market stalls as well this year’s Monster Fest promises to be the biggest ever and in the lead up to the event Monster Fest are letting all their fans see exclusive material each day about each film – ranging from interviews and behind the scenes footage. But that’s only if you have liked their Monster Fest Facebook page.
Monster Fest is on at Melbourne’s Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn from the 26-29th November. Day Passes are as low as $40 ($20 for the Friday if you are student) so this is one of the most affordable film festivals going around.
