Utopia Records in Sydney has announced a HUGE event for this Saturday’s Record Store Day.
Here’s what’s on offer:
2 X Century Venues Golden Tickets – That means a double pass to a maximum of 104 shows for each winner over the next twelve months at the Enmore Theatre, Metro Theatre, Factory Theatre and the Comedy Store.
To win the first Golden Ticket is as easy as spending $50 or more in store at Utopia on Record Store Day, your details will be taken when you purchase and they’ll draw the winner when they close the doors at the end of the day then contact the lucky winner with the good news.
To win the second Golden Ticket is a hell of a lot more fun as they’re placing the ticket inside one of the records in the store so make sure you look closely inside every record you buy as one of them has a $15K prize in it.
If you can’t get into the store, you can head to their online store to win a mega prize courtesy of Metropolis Touring. One lucky bugger will win concert tickets in the closest capital city to the upcoming six awesome tours, Ace Frehley, Opeth, Machine Head, At The Gates, Suffocation and The Haunted.
Hardline Media have offered a VIP MEET AND GREET package for Death Dealer (featuring Ross The Boss from Manowar alongside Australian guitar legend Stu Marshall) as well as a VIP MEET AND GREET with the one and only Graham Bonnet, he of Warm Ride, Baby Blue, Rainbow, MSG, Alcatraz and Impellitteri fame.
HEAVY Music Magazine will also be part of the action, as we giveaway copies of our mag to those visiting Utopia Records on Record Store Day on 18 April.
To top it all off, Utopia Records have decided to throw in one last incentive and offer all customers both in store and online a 10% discount storewide (RSD titles excluded) on all purchases right up until we close the store and then continued online until midnight.
And if that wasn’t enough there will be No Life Til Leather and Frankie’s DJs playing tunes all day along with 10 Utopia Only Exclusive Hard Ons RSD 2015 Pizza Box Peel Me Like An Egg Vinyl including hand drawn Ray Ahn cover and Hard Ons 30th Anniversary poster.
Utopia Records is at Lower Ground Floor, 511 Kent Street, Sydney. You can join the event page here.
