Having previously promised radically different setlists, only to attempt to backtrack by suggesting it was only the font used on the printed setlists that would be different, TSIM have finally relented, and divulged more of what fans can expect. Without revealing which show is on which date, or what the shows are, the band have begrudgingly allowed management to make known, if not in any detail, what will happen at the shows.
The No Mistakes Tour will consist of two very different shows – different songs, different costumes – totally different vibes. The band have pulled a few real gems out of the catalogue – songs many fans won’t have heard live, with some of the songs having not been performed for 40 years. The new tour, commencing in Hobart on October 1, will not replicate the recent Adelaide and Darwin standalone festival shows, so fans will not need to fear having giant cardboard skulls thrown out into the audience; the danger, however, of Les or Ron launching themselves into the moshpit, remains.
