Sydney’s raunchiest underground rock haunt, Dead Set, presents SHE’S ALL BRAT on September 27. A toxic collection of snotty punk, fuzzy grunge and full-throttle rock & roll, She’s All Brat brings together some of Sydney’s fiercest femme-fronted acts for one massive night below the streets of Darlinghurst. Private Wives, Second Idol, Ponzi Scheme, Meow Meow and the Smackouts, Club Halifax and Hydrangea will all take to the Dead Set stage, while DOWNGIRL DJs spin the magic from 5pm til’ late. Hidden beneath Kinselas and entered via Little Oxford Street, Dead Set is a cheeky, grimy hideaway for late night misfits and anyone with a taste for raw rock, alternative and indie sounds. Underground in more ways than one, the intimate basement venue is a home for Sydney’s alternative music community, with live bands every Friday and Saturday and the party raging right through to changeover.
