Sydney based Alt Rockers The Opinion Industry have unleashed their new single and music video called Karen.
“No one likes a Karen and a Karen doesn’t want to be one,” a band statement reads. “Stereotypes were used and some liberties were taken to stretch out the comedy of it all. The overarching message of the song is to remind people to be kinder.”
Karen is the third offering from the bands forthcoming debut EP, which was recorded with producer Mitta Norath at Tommirock Studios. The debut EP is set for release in 2022.
The music video for Karen is an elaborate comic style visual that draws influence from Do The Evolution by Pearl Jam. The masterpiece features hand drawn images took around 6 months to complete and were edited by band member Benny Mac.
