A week out from their appearance at ZED51 and the start of their Front Toward Audience tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their heavy rock masterpiece, This Is This, THE MARK OF CAIN have today announced a limited edition deluxe 2LP reissue of This Is This.
The first-ever vinyl edition of the album includes two bonus tracks from the album sessions including a previously unreleased extended mix of the track Lockdown by album co-producer Andy Gill of Gang of Four. Perhaps the real jewel in the crown though is an absolutely punishing Live at the Wireless session for Triple J recorded in 2002, recorded by the album line-up of Josie Scott, Kim Scott, and drummer John Stanier formerly of US band Helmet. It will literally explode off your turntable. And all pressed on lovely skyblue vinyl.
The 25th anniversary deluxe vinyl edition of This is This will be released November 20 on via the band’s own Black Box Records.
