Alternative emo rock favourites The Beautiful Monument will hit stages in Sydney and Melbourne next month for an intimate weekender, debuting their latest singles Cry About It and Dancing with the Buried live for the very first time. Tickets are on sale now via Destroy All Lines.
The four-piece will take over The Burdekin on Friday 17 April before heading to The Evelyn on Sunday 19 April, giving fans old and new the chance to reconnect with the band before their next chapter unfolds.
So far 2026 has welcomed their subversive new single Cry About It, a rallying cry against bigotry, entitlement and outdated ideologies, out now via Greyscale Records. Both a party anthem and a protest song, Cry About It is one for the girlies, the outcasts and the misfits. Produced by Chris Lalic, the track follows Dancing With The Buried, which first hinted at the band’s leap forward, layering electronics and textured production over the heavy backbone fans know and love.
