Also affectionately known as ComFail, this 4 piece falls stylistically between straight up grind and hardcore punk, with a fairly decent grasp on both facets. Reminiscent of Misery Index at times, the tracks are punchy and aggressive but are hampered by an eager bass drum production that overwhelms when in full flight. This makes the already under driven guitars hard to hear in these passages. Production issues aside – Mind Comf, Drag Migrator, Disinvictus and Hero Of The Church Herd all stray boldly from the ‘flat out’ attack ComfFail do well. Reportedly recorded, scrapped and redone from scratch it’s an album of intense tracks that bare great promise for future efforts.
