SUBURBIASUBURBIA Release New Rocker ‘Don’t Piss In My Pocket’

Share This:

Aussie band Suburbiasuburbia announce the release of their latest charged hard rock single. Don’t Piss In My Pocket follows the same high energy – solid as a rock – 4-on-the-floor formula which has had audiences jumping the bar with every release.

Suburbiasuburbia might run with an AC/DC – esque have-a-drink-on-me sound with a new twist but the lyrics and themes are more street poetry and commentary than they are a ride on a Highway to Hell. Tony Townsend on lead vocals abridges a full-blooded delivery with a melodic timbre that carries the narrative to a rightful dénouement. The rhythm section of Steve King and Noel Gardner starts and stays like a block wall while the harmonica and guitar work of Alan Lyon and Rowie Riot, come across like swallowing a jar of jalapeños.

The band is signed to MGM Groove Merchants – the shining light in independent music on the Australian scene and PISS comes on the back of three cohesive albums – In the Fridge Vol.1, Landfill and Smokestack, with this latest release destined for the upcoming fourth album TURD HILL – another offering consistent with the social justice and environmental allegories that bubble this band to the surface.
