The Civic Hotel in Perth will play host to an epic all day Metal Festival in May 2014 whith ten fantastic bands taking over the venue from 2pm until the wee hours. While half the line up features local Western Australian bands, the other half are coming in from all over the nation to take part. Headed up by a trio of power metal acts who are all the premiere power purveyors in their home state. Victoria’s Black Majesty, WA’s Silent Knight and NSW’s Darker Half.
Victoria’s Mason deliver some solid thrash and fellow southerners, Damnations Day display some progressive power. Gorefield represent the Queenslanders with some traditional speed metal. The first four bands on the day all hail from WA and thrash like it’s 1985. Enforce, Psychonaut, Cold Fate and Death Dependant will set the mood for the epic evening ahead. There are also some killer prizes on offer for people who pre-purchase their tickets, and the Stormrider compilation cd featuring bands on the bill and more, will be given out for FREE on the day.
