Sharing Is Caring With BAD JUJU

Melbourne alternative rock outfit Bad Juju decided the best way to fight negativity is through positivity with the release of their latest track What’s Mine Is Yours.

Following on from previous singles American Halloween and In The Clouds, What’s Mine Is Yours introduces fans to Bad Juju 2022, a feel good, fun times band who refuse to let anything the current world climate throws at them get them down.

Guitarist Abe Miller joined HEAVY to chat about the new single.

What’s Mine Is Yours outlines the daily grind faced by most of us, but urges you to leave your worries at the door and live in the moment. It is a song written from personal experiences, as explained by Miller.

Russell (Holland, vocals) obviously handles all the lyrics and stuff like that,” he explained, “but personally for me as well – especially going through the last couple of years having to deal with a few things mentally and stuff like that – I think… While it can be a challenge, it’s also a good thing to get out of your comfort zone and leave a few things behind – like work for example – and put it back where it belongs and go out and enjoy the present. You never know what’s gonna happen, so it’s a good reminder.”

In the full interview, Abe talks about the film clip and how it relates to the mood of the song, future music plans, the early days of Bad Juju, their upcoming tour with Agnes Manners, plans for 2022 and more.
