Brisbane four-piece metal outfit Scrutiny have released their latest single “Firefight”, just in time for ANZAC Day.
“Firefight” is based on a true story, told by a Veteran who was sent to Iraq found living on the streets. This song tells his story as Scrutiny pleads for help to spread awareness of veterans suffering from PTSD and how it is destroying their lives or worse killing them. There are currently over 6000 homeless veterans in Australia and the suicide rate among veterans has increased with over 80 deaths since 2020.
