Tweed Heads rock machine The Whiskeys are unleashing their debut single Hoedown on the world today, and you better be ready!
The Whiskeys formed back in 2019 but spent the next few years refining and finding their sound through countless live shows and hours spent writing. Although having enough material to possibly record and release an EP, the band allowed themselves time to connect with their music before announcing it to others.
The result is Hoedown, a song about living in the moment, with the music and dancing and singing, letting go of all the everyday drama and having an epic time with music like a good old-fashioned hoedown!
The Whiskeys are essentially a rock band but draw influences from Led Zeppelin through to Refused as well as punk and hard rock music.
