Premiere: KILLPILL ‘Waiting To Die’

Ipswich’s own sonic wrecking crew KillPill are back—and they’re hitting harder than ever.

Blending metal, punk, and rockabilly into a chaotic, high-voltage sound, KillPill are a three-piece force built on raw energy and zero compromise. Made up of Ziggy (drums), Dave “Bud” (guitar/vocals), and Eva (bass/vocals), the band has carved out a reputation for their sweat-drenched, unpredictable live shows—where the line between gig and full-blown physical theatre completely disappears.

But KillPill aren’t just about noise—they’re creators across multiple worlds. From visual art and gothic musical theatre to set construction for film and stage, their creative output bleeds far beyond music. Everything they touch feeds back into the chaos that defines their sound.

Now, the band return with their latest release — Waiting To Die — a track that captures their raw intensity and confrontational edge, backed by a brutal new music video directed by Australian horror filmmaker Chris Sun and the team at Slaughter FX (Come and Get Me, Daddy’s Little Girl, Charlie’s Farm, Boar, The Possessed).

Off the back of the release, KillPill are taking their sound international — heading to Japan for their first tour, bringing the grit of the Ipswich/Brisbane punk, rock, and metal scene to new stages.
