Reinforcing the ranks of the Australian east coast metal scene is Dimensionist, the latest progressive metal act from Brisbane (Meanjin). United by personal reckonings amidst the hangover of a global pandemic, our 5-piece came together with a shared sense of urgency in making our offerings to you, the listener.
Dimensionist explores the space that exists at the edge of heavy music, while ebbing and flowing into the great unknown. Chaotic riffs interspersed with soulful modernity are complemented by emotive lyrics delivered with equal parts ferocity and angelic grace, all the while underpinned by intricate percussion, textured synths and cutting edge production.
