Northlane and In Hearts Wake are hitting the road together for an Australian tour in June. Joining them will be Hands Like Houses and Ocean Grove, for an all-Australian tour de force unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. You can expect to see both headlining bands do guest vocals on each other’s hits and many more surprises are still to be revealed!
“As our paths have crossed over the years the timing is finally right to embark on a co-headline tour that we’ve dreamt up together,” says In Hearts Wake’s Jake Taylor. “It’s hard to think that it all started in a ghetto garage many years ago and here we are now.”
Northlane’s Josh Smith is just as keen to share the stage with their good friends: “We always want to be on the road with those guys but I think the fact that we’re both now in a pretty similar stage in our career makes it the right time to do something like this in Australia. I can’t contain my excitement for this tour. We’ve never done anything like it before and who better to be doing it with than our best mates. I’ll cherish the memories of this tour forever.”
2015 was a massive year for both bands. Northlane saw Node debut at #1 on the ARIA Chart while In Hearts Wake landed at #2 with Skydancer, both played to thousands of fans at sold out shows around the county and they were rewarded by the industry with ARIA nominations that saw Northlane just pipping In Hearts Wake to the finish line to take home the award.
