The Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival is back for another year to celebrate all that is power, thrash, speed, prog and traditional heavy metal. The Festival, now in its third year, will be moving to the Amplifier Bar in Perth.
The Festival will be held on 17 June 2016 and will feature eight of Australia’s brightest metal talents. Headlining the affair will be Vanishing Point and Silent Knight. The Festival will run on two stages so there will be no hanging around in between sets!
Also performing on the night will be Tasmanians, Taberah. Mason, from Melbourne. Adelaide thrashers Hidden Intent. Local WA band Coldfate, and Bloodlust, who will be playing their debut show. Kicking the day off in classic nostalgic retro fashion will be Necromancer, who will be playing a set of thrash covers from the all-time masters of the genre.
