Australia’s tech-metal masters Devolved partner with Black Mountain Music to unleash their brand new track “No Salvation”.
Featuring founding member and internationally renowned metal drummer John Sankey (Devil You Know, Fear Factory, Divine Heresy, Superheist), Devolved returns in 2020 to once again push the boundaries of aggression, intensity and precision.
After 15 years based in Los Angeles touring and recording with a plethora of high profile bands Sankey is now back in his native land and has recruited local heavyweights Simon Durrant (In:Extremis, Superheist) on vocals/bass and Kris Marchant (Mazikeen, Hackxwhore) on guitars.
Sankey says of the bands latest incarnation and plans, “Simmo and Kris are absolutely crushing it. I’ve worked with a lot of metals’ elite musicians over the years and these guys have the chops to keep up with the very best of them. Nothing is off-limits and the material we are writing definitely showcases that. 2020 marks the 20th year of the bands’ debut album Technologies so the time is right for new Devolved music. “No Salvation” was recorded and mixed at Black Mountain Sound Studio by famed ARIA nominated producer DW Norton (Superheist, Damaged, Alchemist, Frenzal Rhomb).
