And Silence Remains is the brainchild of Timo Wimmer.
The project is a one-man show with Timo playing, singing and recording everything himself as well as mixing and producing on his recently released album.
Taking his time to get things right, Timo studied poetry to help his lyric writing and spent a further two years refining his voice before spending more time learning how to record efficiently and write the material.
With an aim to create an album that follows a storyline with one overall connecting theme, it was important to deliver lyrical qualities and storytelling abilities. This is supported by fast-paced music, capturing melodies, angry drums and a raw voice.
