Musical icon Prince is dead at 57. Sometimes people transcend any genre stereotype and Prince was no doubt in that category.
What happened is still unknown but it has been reported that he was rushed to hospital a couple of days ago with the flu. TMZ has reported that the body of the singer was discovered overnight at his Paisley Park compound in suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota. Police at the scene tried to revive him but they were unable to and he was pronounced dead at 10:07am (CT)
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office has told TMZ they are now investigating the circumstances of Prince’s death. At this time, there are no signs of foul play. Vale to a Legend.
