“It started as a studio project”, recalled Matt Turner, guitarist for Melbourne’s To An End. “Myself and Alastair, who is the singer, decided to do some songs in the studio and we got eleven done and recorded them. In the full interview Matt discusses putting To An End together as a band, the lead single “Wasteland”, what feel they were looking for with that song, the upcoming album Redefine, the musical direction on the album, the bands influences, guest vocalists Chris Amott (formerly of Arch Enemy) and Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within), road testing the songs and more.
