Lord announce tour dates

Share This:

Just when you thought October couldn’t be anymore jam packed with tour dates, along comes Lord with their October/November tour, PLAYING TO WIN: The Road to Farnsy Tour 2015.

For some reason, the band seems to have a slight obsession with The (original) Voice, John Farnham. After the following tour dates, the band is planning to catch the inspiration behind this tour’s name on 29 November in Melbourne.

Anyway, enough about Farnsy. This is a metal mag. Catch Lord, not Farnsy (didn’t he do a farewell tour many moons ago?) on the following dates.

Tour Dates

16 October – The Metro Theatre, Sydney (with HELLOWEEN)
31 October – The Basement, Canberra
6 November – Crowbar, Brisbane
7 November – Happy Yess, Darwin
13 November – Enigma Bar, Adelaide
14 November – The Boston, Perth
27 November – Dicey Rileys, Wollongong
28 November – The Workers Club, Melbourne

Lord is essentially a continuation of Dungeon, one of Australia’s longest running and highest profile heavy metal bands, which began playing under the Lord banner in 2006. Lord has released four full length albums, three EPs, a digital-only release live album, and most recently issued “The Dungeon Era” box set, which featured re-recording of all four of the official DUNGEON albums, plus four remastered original Dungeon performance albums, as well as the 2015 EP release, “What Tomorrow Brings” which features a 26 minute long concept title track and a cover of the Little River Band / John Farnham hit “Playing To Win.”
