This song, ‘Ethos’, is meant to capture the pure essence of horror in auditory form and is taken from the new full-length album by Beastial Piglord entitled Sunder.
The musical style I was going for in this song and the whole album in general is what I like to call “hideous controlled chaos”. If Lovecraft’s darkest tale had a soundtrack, that’s what I wanted this to sound like.
Beastial Piglord is a band from planet Earth, who remains anonymous. Our goal is to slowly pull a thread from the fabric of the universe with each song. I would describe the genre of Beastial Piglord as extreme music, which combines death metal, black metal, doom/sludge with ambient/horror overtones.
