Iron Maiden Frontman Bruce Dickinson Wears ‘All Blacks’ Jersey for NZ Crowd

Share This:

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson proudly wore the world champion All Blacks jersey in Christchurch on Friday night. Dickinson, a long time rugby fan, told the packed out New Zealand audience that it was “a bit of a fantasy moment.” to be given the jersey, before explaining there’s not much difference between metal and rugby. “I’m a rugby fan. And for me, rugby and metal, it’s a little bit similar. We don’t give a shit. It’s all about the game. Metal, it’s all about the music.”

Iron Maiden are currently in Australia on their The Book of Souls world tour. They hit Brisbane tomorrow night before going through Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and finishing up in Perth on the 14th May.
