Two fan recorded audio clips have emerged of what appears to be Axl Rose rehearsing with AC/DC in Portugal, for their concert on the 7 May 2016. You can clearly make out the famous voice and even though the sound quality isn’t great, it does makes me think this idea might be crazy enough to work.
Axl can be heard singing short clips of both Thunderstruck and Shoot To Thrill. Play the videos for yourself and let us know what you think! Is this actually going to work? After the initial shock of the news, it does seem like an inspired choice by Angus. The timing is strange with Guns N’ Roses getting back together at EXACTLY the same time, but if you can put that aside, AC/DC fans seem like they have something really cool to look forward to on these upcoming dates.
