Swedish alternative metalcore outfit Imminence have, during the last few years, established their own highly unique brand and have done their part to push the genre beyond expectations. With the distinct use of classical string arrangements blended with the influence of ferocious Scandinavian metal, the sound and visual universe of the quintet stands out as incredibly innovative and exciting.
Fronted by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström, and bassist Christian Höijer, Imminence release the heaviest and most extreme song in the quintet’s history with Heaven Shall Burn. Letting influences from melodic death metal, and unexpectedly even black metal, Imminence took the opportunity to premiere the brand the new single live at Wacken Festival 2023, leaving a crowd of more than 20,000 people in a state of amazement and asking for more.
