It’s been a couple of weeks between drinks, the music industry is still puckering along even without live music smashing ears across the globe, and we’re chugging along with it.
Over the last couple of weeks we developed some brand new features to the HEAVY website:
- HEAVY Classifieds – Discover music industry professionals.
- HEAVY Stores – Buy band merch directly from the bands own HEAVY stores
We’re expecting these two new editions to HEAVY to build over time to become a hub of all things heavy.
In this week’s HEAVY Digi-Mag Issue #116, we feature the one-and-only LAMB OF GOD. There are few bands in Australia that can hold up to be true “Godfathers” of a genre where extreme metal is concerned. Abramelin is the one that holds that flag. Their contribution to death metal as a whole is second to none. The vocals of Simon Dower and songwriting of Tim Aldridge from their very first incarnation as Acheron set them apart from many well respected internationally recognised death metal bands in the early nineties.
