In what is the biggest tour announcement of the year, Mudvayne and Coal Chamber have declared war on Australia next February and just by virtue of that alone they deserve the cover.

Unfortunately, our interview with Chad fell through, but we have brought to you an awesome video interview done by Revolver with the promise (from Mudvayne themselves) that they will be talking to HEAVY as soon as possible.

We also speak with Peej from UK punk larrikins Punk Rock Factory ahead of their debut Aussie tour, Martin from Confyde runs us through his awesome new track Scalper and Cryptopsy and Silent Skies both tell us about their new albums.

With Napalm Death already on our shores and playing their second show tonight, we have also rehashed Metal V’s recent interview with Barney for you.

It’s that good.

As usual there are plenty of tour and music news for you, so get up to date with what’s happening with Brutal Coast IV, Gloryhammer, Mudvayne and Coal Chamber, Sleepbomb, Mo’s Desert Clubhouses 4th Birthday celebrations, Skids, NOFX, Steve Wilson and Lebanon Hanover.

There’s also the nominees for Best Live Hard Rock or Heavy Metal plus Best Live Punk/Hardcore from the NLMA’s, with HEAVY sponsoring both of the above!

There’s new music from Post Profit, Confyde, The Amenta, Kaosis, Self Deception, Firewind, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Alterium, Salus, Atena, Bonafide and ’68, as well as reviews of the new albums from Osaka Punch, Danko Jones and Massen plus live reviews and photo galleries of shows from The Screaming Jets, Thrice and The Omnific.

If that hasn’t worn you out settle in to HEAVY Cinema for the latest news, reviews and interviews from Hollywood.

Told you it was big…

Until next week, stay HEAVY
