With the release of Kin last week, Whitechapel were the standout choice to feature on the cover this week, with guitarist Ben Savage stopping by for a quick chat about yet another change of musical direction from the band.

Rising stars MOL have put out their latest slab of goodness, with Kim Song Sternkopf filling us in on all of the goss, plus Australian outlaw musical hero Angry Anderson has taken a brief leave from Rose Tattoo to form the AA Band which next week will release their wicked new single Realise, Legalise. Angry took some time out from his day to run us through that track and the meaning behind it, and trust me when I tell you this is a stunning new single from a man who we all thought we had figured out!

Slipknot heads up the new music, with more new tracks from We Came As Romans, The Cold Vein, The Halo Effect, Turmion Katilot, Sabaton, Kissin’ Dynamite, Amorphis, Annisokay, Blind Guardian, MOL and Hypocrisy.

We feature all the latest tour, Livestream and album news from Seether, Motley Crue, Under The Southern Stars, Clutch, Bullet For My Valentine, Falling In Reverse and Cult Of Luna, and also bring you details on the Beat The Tumour charity show at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse as well as the new compilation album from Metal United Down Under.

Gretsch has put out a new Richard Fortus signature guitar, so get all the details on that, while in the review section our team runs over the new albums from Whitechapel, Blood Youth and Scattered Hamlet, while our man in the US brings you his take on the recent Gojira concert.

HEAVY Cinema continues the goodness, with reviews of latest films Red Notice, No Time To Die and Eternals and to round it off we speak to the stars of Escape From Death Block 13 and Dead And Beautiful.

It’s been a great week!

Until next time, stay HEAVY,
