This week’s DigiMag cover features a new band on the Australian music scene who threaten to decimate your minds, souls and eardrums. They are called Miruthan and come to you with an amazing backstory and sonic visual that is best taken in through the words of songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Nzambi Mapungu – also known as The Zombie God.
We also speak with Engraved, Wolf & Chain, Luca Brasi, Diamond Construct, Parkway Drive, Wildheart, The Dreadful Tides and Greta Van Fleet in a bumper issue that showcases the talent on display in this country and some of the bands set to visit these shores in the future.
There’s tour and music news from ORGY & COLD, both of whom are making their debut Australian tours later this year, as well as Steve Hughes, Cave In, Bloom and Jet who all have exciting developments to share.
HEAVY is proud to premiere new tracks from St. Sinner and Wildheart plus bring you new music from Slatz, Jet, In Hearts Wake, Void Of Vision and Run.
Our review team took a listen to the new albums from Diamond Construct, Pearl Jam and Miruthan and to top it off the live team reviews all of the action from Pandemonium Rocks, Suffocation and Bring Me The Horizon. And as a special treat, Wolf Hoffmann and Mark Tornillo from Accept dropped in with a track-by-track analysis of their new album, Humanoid.
Apologies for the delayed release of this week’s digimag, but you can blame my lack of knowledge when it comes to technology for that!
Until next week, stay HEAVY
