GROOVER Review: LED TO RUIN ‘Farenheit’

Anything positive that came out of the COVID period is a definite plus, but when that positive takes shape through music, it is even better.

So goes the story of metal outfit Led To Ruin, who used their enforced downtime wisely, rediscovering their passion for music, which leads us to their recently released single Fahrenheit.

Starting with a massively crunching guitar riff that sets an aggressive tone, Led To Ruin soon reveal their hand with an unexpectedly clean vocal delivery that comes as a pleasant surprise.

This is high energy, up-tempo stuff with a catchy as fuck chorus and groove that is swept along by the ever-present and swirling guitar tone that stands proud throughout.

It is more music of a hard rock variety, but also has enough in the way of rock DNA to appeal to a wider, dare I say it, possibly commercial audience.

Which is never a bad thing when we can convert the masses to our way of listening.
