Iconic Holland based black/death metallers GOD DETHRONED shed light on a biblical chronicle with the title track and second single from their upcoming studio album The Judas Paradox which is out now through Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
The opening track of the album draws listeners into a perilous abyss filled with betrayal, presenting the narrative from Judas‘ perspective.
This gradually intensifying song weaves the apostle’s account of the historical events involving Jesus, who refutes the unfounded accusations against one of his nearest disciples, expressed through murmuring choral chants.
The Judas Paradox was produced by the band themselves, with mixing being handled by their very own singer/guitarist Henri.
Tony Lindgren, who previously worked with scene greats such as OPETH, AMORPHIS, ENSLAVED, KATATONIA, KREATOR and SEPULTURA, took over mastering duties at Fascination Street Studios, rounding off the grandly sinister sound of “The Judas Paradox.”
