SharpTone Records is thrilled to welcome Glasswaves, a Rochester, New York-based trio that seamlessly blends dark pop, alternative rock, and electronic elements with a heavy and dynamic edge, to the global roster. The band has shared the video for gloomy and glitchy new single fvck.me.up. Watch it below.
“What started as a completely different idea slowly turned into a mix of electronic textures and heavy guitars that just felt right,” shares singer Noah Rich. “Once the chorus came together, everything really clicked into place. At its core, the song is about destructive love and emotional dependency that pulls you toward something you know isn’t good for you but can’t let go of.”
He finishes, “Within the world we’re building as Glasswaves, it reflects that loss of control and the feeling of giving yourself over to something bigger, whether that’s a person, a system, or something inside your own mind. This track is the first piece of a bigger story that will keep unfolding with every release.”
