Set amongst the lush bushland confines of Dashville, in the Hunter Valley, Thrashville returns, ready for a one day explosion of punk, rock, metal and all in between, on the darkest, firiest day of the year, Saturday, June 27, 2026.
This years line-up is a cracker, with FEAR (USA), Disentomb, The Bennies, Dregg, Hybrid Nightmares, Turtle Skull, Good Sniff, Private Wives, Couch Wizard, Catpiss, Purple Disturbance, Pyrefly, Whisperhead, Happy Fuckin Family, Immortal Within, I Hate People and Shacked! all set to deliver a great weekend of live entertainment.
HEAVY sent each band a short Q&A in order to get to know them a bit better. Today we get better acquainted with Immortal Within.
HEAVY: THRASHVILLE 2026 is nearly upon us. Have you ever been to Thrashville before as a punter or performing?
Lenny (Drums/Vox) – No this will be our first time. We are so keen and beyond grateful to be playing at this amazing festival. We’ve heard nothing but great things about this event. And we can’t wait to meet new people and show everyone our love for the game.
H: What does it mean to you to be playing Thrashville?
Lyric Silk (Guitar/Vox) – We are extremely grateful to be able to pursue this amazing opportunity by playing with such amazing bands and meeting new people.
H: How important are festivals like Thrashville for Australian bands?
Lenny (Drums/Vox) – This will be our first festival performance, which we are extremely grateful to be playing on. We hope to be playing at more festivals like this around the country.
H: Which bands are you most looking forward to and why?
Lyric Silk (Guitar/Vox) – We are most exited to see the legendary Fear tear apart the Hunter Valley with their old school punk.
H: It’s a long day of music. What will you be doing to make sure you will still be standing come your set time?
Lenny (Drums/Vox) – We will definitely be staying hydrated, watching all the other sick bands on the bill. We’ll be doing our yoga sessions backstage to prepare for the show.
H: Give me your Top 3 Festival survival tips.
Lyric Silk (Guitar/Vox) – Keep hydrated, Show up for every band. ENJOY YOUR TIME.
H: Which band – other than yourself – who do you think will get up to the most mischief on the day?
Lenny (Drums/Vox) – Fear for sure. I don’t know why I can sense something mischievous from them.
H: What song do you think the crowd would want you to play to finish your set and what are you going to play?
Lyric Silk (Guitar/Vox) – A Useless End, our newest release. Hoping to get a few hard moshers, mic grabs and stage dives to bring the energy.
H: What one song would you tell festival goers to listen to of yours if they haven’t heard you play before?
Lenny (Drums/Vox) – A Useless End 100%. It’s a great song to introduce us to listeners who haven’t heard our sound before. It’s great music to mosh too, especially if you feel like punching someone only when necessary.
