When Mary’s Blood opened for Dragonforce back in 2015 the future uniting of two powerhouses in metal was almost pre-determined.
Fast forward five years and Frédéric Leclercq (Dragonforce, Kreator) and SAKI (Mary’s Blood) have joined forces to create Amahiru, a band combining traditional metal with melodic and oriental infused elements to produce a sound that defies current metal trends.
The final product sees Amahiru set to release their self-titled debut album on November 27 via earMUSIC, with the first single “Hours” to be released digitally with accompanying music video on September 25.
