Halle Berry is Hollywood’s understated action girl. Though much criticism surrounds her role in 2004’s Catwoman, it did launch her career in a new direction – her role as Storm in the X-Men movies has become her most iconic, with other high-octane roles including Cloud Atlas, Dark Tide, and the soon-to-be-released Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle.
Each year, Halle ups the stakes – and Kidnap is no exception. In it, she stars as Karla Dyson, a diner worker whose son is kidnapped by a mysterious group. Unable to rely on the police, Karla must take the search into her own hands.
Kidnap premieres on August 4th.
