Last years Feast Of Metal boasted the likes of Be’lakor, Black Majesty and Orpheus. Next years festivities looks to follow a similar trend by including some of Australia’s best local bands, with the inclusion of epic viking like feasts and sword fighting.
Next years blockbuster sequel comes as no surprise as last years feast proved to be an absolute success. The viking driven event combines medieval themes through massive ceremonial feasts, sword fighting, markets, dark art exhibitions, trivia, games and the all important treasure hunt.
The event will be held at the Revolt Art Space in Kensington on Saturday February 8th 2014 and aims to create a cultural event that brings together Australia’s lush community of metal fans, musicians, artists and business owners through the art of beer tasting and crushing metal tunes, to be held over two stages. There will be market stalls to fulfill those urges of purchasing metal merchandise to remember the monumental event by.
But if that’s still not enough to tickle your inner Thor, weapon and battle displays will be carried out by the Vlachernai Branch of the New Varangian Guard, returning to unleash their armaments upon one another once again.
Save yourself some silver and gold for extra pints of Ale by purchasing a general admission early bird ticket for $30 before allocations are exhausted. After that it’s $35 a hit pre-sale, and $50 for a Feasting Ticket (pre-sale only, includes general admission, a meal and two standard drinks). If you choose to fight for your ticket on the door, general admission will cost $40.
