Facing TERROR With STICK TO YOUR GUNS

Life has been hectic in the life of Jesse Barnett recently. His hardcore outfit Stick To Your Guns are preparing to tour Australia in January with Terror and aside from that he has been busy with his solo project Wish You Were Here.

Well when HEAVY Mag recently caught up with Barnett he talked to us about what Stick To Your Guns fans can expect from their Australian tour, about the personal space he found himself in when he has been recently writing new music and delivered up a little surprise for fans of Wish You Were Here.

“We are very excited about coming back to Australia,” says Barnett live from The OC. “It will be winter over here so it will great to be there in some great weather so we can have a year of the endless summer… what is better than that? You know we are very close with Terror and Scott and I were talking about touring and what we should do and where we should go and we decided to do something cool rather than just the normal US tour or even an European tour, so we decided to do something different and do Australia. It has been pretty cool because Terror took us to Australia ten years ago so it feels like a bit of an anniversary tour with us bringing them out there… it will be a good time and we are very excited about it.”

“It makes the whole experience even better,” says Barnett when we talk about what it is like touring with another band that you are really close to. “It is like you can hang out with them all the time, and we have done Japan with them before so it will be cool when we are back in Japan to be able to do the stuff we normally do and then when we are in Australia go jump off cliffs and do lots of fun stuff like that. It normally feels like an adult summer camp so everybody is really looking forward to it.”
