DYING WISH have shared the video for Now You’ll Rot which can be seen below.
The song has an extremely potent and topical message, while the visual finds the band in performance mode, laying waste to their instruments, interspersed with images of creepy, crawly signs of death, decay, and rot.
“Back in 2020, as a band from Portland, we witnessed first hand the violent weaponization of the police against the citizens of our city during the George Floyd uprisings,” says singer Emma. “This song calls for the abolition of the current police state, as well as the power to communities and liberation for black lives. Two years after writing this song, we still stand firmly in this message. Abolish and rebuild.”
2022 saw Dying Wish touring with Code Orange, Limp Bizkit, The Devil Wears Prada, and Hatebreed. This month, they return to the road supporting Counterparts. All dates are below.
